CHARIS INITIATIVE

Over the last 5 years we have helped out the needy in Paphos and what started off as helping out just a few families grew to a passion to help anyone that needed it. In the Spring and Summer of 2019 we managed to give out food and clothing parcels to 80+ families every two weeks and this caused a considerable strain on our resources.

However we never turned anyone away and somehow our God made sure our cupboards were always stocked with sufficient food, toiletries and clothing. We have a great love for our community here in Paphos and are looking to help people closer to home - our congregation and the ex-pat community, to find out if they need our assistance during their times of difficulty. Our church organise hospital and home visits to give people comfort and a helping hand with any physical work they may need in their homes. We also help out homeless people in Paphos, providing them with shelter, food and our knowledge of the local social services to try and get Government help.

HOME GROUPS

Each week we meet and get together to study the Word of God. Our studies are sometimes structured and cover a theme over a number of weeks. At other times they are one-off sessions pulled together by one or more member of the church.

OUTREACH / EVANGELISM

We regularly join up with groups of Christians to go out onto the streets and pray for people or pray for the city of Paphos itself.

GRACE CHAPEL

We meet each week in the early evening to pray for our church, seeking guidance from our Lord for our various ministries, people in need and the world.
